water

we live here
in a materialistic society
walking a line
drunk with greed
we stumble and fall
all the while
the giver of life and good things
whispers and guides and provides
he doesn't force
he offers
but he's standing on water
surrounded by waves
it's scary and brilliant
and there's something he's got
that i need
but if i fall out there
i'll get wet
hell
better a little water
than a broken bone
